· Competed in seven events as a freshman
· Finished ninth while posting a career-best time of 53:12 in the 400 meters at the Southwestern Relays
· Posted a career-best time of 11:92 in the 100 meters at the ESU Relays
HIGH SCHOOL
· Prepped four varsity seasons at Drumright (Okla.) High School where he graduated in 2011
· Placed second at the state meet in the 400m, fourth in the 200m, and sixth in the 100m as a senior
· Won the 400m at the regional meet and placed second in the 100m and 200m
· Posted personal bests of 10.62 in the 100m, 22.27 in the 200m, and 49.00 in the 400m
· Placed third in the 400m, fifth in the 100m, and sixth in the 200m at the state meet as a junior
· Won the regional meet in the 100m and placed second in the 200m and 400m
· Placed seventh at the state meet in the 400m as a sophomore
· Ran the 400m at the regional meet and placed third
· Placed fourth in the 400m at the regional meet as a freshman
· Also played four seasons of football, three seasons of soccer, and one season of baseball
PERSONAL
· Born Dec. 4, 1992, to John Chandler and Charlene Hoover
· Has three brothers, Jace, Kyle, and Alan, and one sister, Courtney
· His brother, Jace, plays football at SNU
· His sister, Courtney, runs track at Bethany College
· Majoring in elementary education
· Plans to be a teacher, coach, and youth pastor
· Enjoys playing Call of Duty with hsi roommate and hanging out with friends
