2017-18
· Competed in three events as a junior
· Finished 10th in the 60m at the UCO Open with a time of 7.29
· Helped the Storm to a fourth place finish in the 4x400 relay at the UCO Open
2016-17
· Competed in 14 events as a sophomore
· Earned three top-10 finishes on the season
· Posted a season-best 11.44 in the 100-meters run at the GAC Track & Field Championships
2015-16
· Competed in 14 events as a freshman
· Earned four top-10 finishes on the season
· Posted a season-best time of 22.18 in the 200 meters while finishing fourth at the Great American Conference Track & Field Championships
· Had a third place finish at the Southwestern Relays in the in the 100 meter with a time of 11.00
· Also posted collegiate best times in the 60 meter with a time of 7.32, the 100 meter with a time of 10.90, and the 400 meter with a time of 52.70
HIGH SCHOOL
· Prepped four varsity seasons at Prosper (Texas) High School, where he graduated in 2015
· Was a three-time regional qualifier in the 4x400 meters, while also qualifying once in the 4x100 meters and the 200 meters
· Also played one varsity season of football and wrestling for the Eagles
PERSONAL
· Born Sept. 23, 1996, to Xavier and Dinorah Gutierrez
· Has one sister, Mia
· Cousin, Jared Rangel, plays soccer at SNU
· Uncle, Dominic Gutierrez, played football at the University of Southern California
· Majoring in physical therapy with a minor in education
· Hopes to work with a professional sports team as a physical therapist
· Enjoys staying active and helping his mother with her students
