Biography

SNU Career Highlights:
Sophomore Season: Farris started 13 of the 15 games he played for spending 1,294:59 in goal. He recorded 78 saves, the fourth most in the Sooner Athletic Conference and earned Sooner Athletic Conference Goalkeeper of the Year honors as well as All-SAC first team. Farris compiled an 8-5-1 record in the cage. He moved to eighth all time in school history with 169 career saves and is now sixth all-time in school history with 22 wins. Farris recorded a career-high 12 saves against John Brown and against Bellevue (Neb.). He recorded a shutout at Oklahoma Christian.

Freshman Season: Farris had an impressive start to his SNU career in 2008, starting in all 20 of SNU's games in goal. For the season, Farris finished with a 0.84 goals against average, which is fourth best for a single season in school history and ranked 23rd best in the nation in 2008. Farris logged 1,724 minutes in goal, giving up 16 goals with 91 saves and a record of 14-5-1. Farris' save percentage of .850 is third best for a single season in school history and his eight shutouts are fifth best for a single season in SNU history. Farris' 91 saves ranks ninth best for a single season in school history. Farris helped SNU's defense finish the season ranked second in the conference in goals allowed per game. As a team, SNU's defense gave up only 18 goals in 20 games.

High School Highlights:
Sherman High School (Sherman, Texas): Farris earned MVP honors as a freshman and junior and was an all-district honoree his freshman season. Also during his freshman season, Farris earned District Newcomer of the Year honors and was an all-district first team selection as a junior.
