Trevor Harmon

Trevor Harmon is entering his eighth season as the head coach of the Men's soccer program after being named to the position in January of 2018. He is the sixth coach in SNU history since the program started in 1978.

Harmon has led the Crimson Storm in back to back to back to back GAC regular season championships from 2021-2024. Additionally, they have won the GAC tournament championship in 2022 & 2023, providing SNU an automatic berth into the NCAA National tournament. SNU has finished inside the top 25 nationally at the end of each of the last four seasons. He has received the GAC Coach of the Year award in 2018, 2021, and 2023 while his staff was recognized by the United Soccer Coaches Association as the 2022 & 2023 Central Region staff of the year.

Harmon has coached 57 All-GAC selections in seven seasons while his players have claimed GAC Defender of the year (2018, 2022, 2023), GAC Offensive player of the year (2023, 2024), GAC Midfielder of the year (2021), and GAC Newcomer of the Year (2018, 2021, 2022, 2023). Harmon has also coached the Central Region Player of the Year (2023, 2024) and an All-American (2023, 2024). Since making the transition to NCAA DII, his teams have shattered SNU records. In 2023 they achieved a program best 2.48 goals for average and a 1.19 goals against average.

Additionally, his teams have excelled in the classroom. His teams have never had below a cumulative GPA of a 3.0 and achieved as high as a 3.52 as a team. He has coached three GAC distinguished athletes in Alex Da Silva, Jedidiah Huibregtse, & Michele Barletta.

During the shortened Spring 2021 covid season, his team posted a 3-4 record, qualifying for the GAC playoffs and falling to the eventual GAC champions of Rogers State. 

Prior to starting the position in January 2018, Harmon started the Redlands Community College women's soccer program and coached them for a lone season in the Fall of 2017. He posted an 8-8 inaugural record with a roster made up of entirely freshmen.

He also had stops at Eastern Oklahoma State College & Rose State College. At Eastern he was the Head men & women's soccer coach and accumulated a record of 15-13-3 with both programs. He coached four All-Region selections while at EOSC. 
 
Prior to his first head coaching position at Eastern, he helped start the program as an assistant coach at Rose State College with Billy Martin, the current OCU Men's & Women's Head coach. During their time at Rose State, they amassed a record of 26 wins and 10 losses in the two season's he was there. 
 
Harmon played four seasons at the collegiate level at Oklahoma City University where he graduated in the Spring of 2014. He was a three-year starter for the Stars, and was also one of the captains of the team during his senior season.
 
He studied marketing while at OCU and earned his B.B.A. while graduating with Cum Laude honors. He later continued his education and studied Sports Management at East Central University, earning his Masters of Education in 2017. He and his wife Tiffany have two sons, Elias and Asher.
