Eddie Wright begins his third season as an assistant coach for the Southern Nazarene men's soccer program. He has a Class C coaching license from the United States Soccer Federation. He has been the head coach at Putnam City high school for the past nine years and has also been the head coach of the Southlakes Soccer Club for the past three years.
Wright is a native of Oklahoma City, where he attended Putnam City High School and graduated in 1999.Â
After graduating from Putnam City, he attended Missouri Southern State University where played football for three seasons. He transferred to the University of Oklahoma his senior year and graduated from there with his bachelor's in English in 2004.
Wright and his wife, Erin, reside in Oklahoma City and have two daughters, Kayden and Kallie.Â
