Dominique Nayaga begins his third season as assistant coach for the SNU men’s and women's soccer program. Nayaga played for SNU from 2003-06. During his playing career, Nayaga earned numerous honors and set a variety of record for the men’s soccer program.
In his first season at SNU, Nayaga earned NAIA All-American second team honors and was named the Sooner Athletic Conference’s Player of the Year and Offensive Player of Year, while earning All-SAC first team honors.
In his sophomore season, Nayaga was an All-American honorable mention, First Team All-Region VI first etam, and All-SAC first team selections.
As a junior, Dominique earned NAIA All-American second team, Sooner Athletic Conference Most Valuable Player, and was an All-SAC first team honoree.
Capping off his career, Nayaga earned NAIA All-American second team honors as a senior, was again the SAC Offensive Player of the Year, earned All-Region VI first team, and collected his fourth consecutive All-SAC first team selection.
Nayaga finished his career as SNU’s all-time leading goal scorer with 74 goals. Nayaga is SNU’s career leader in points (180), points per game (2.28), goals per game (0.94), and is second in assists with 32.
Nayaga also holds season records for points (73), points per game (3.17), goals (29), and goals per game (1.26).
