Willoughby is in his second season as Assistant Head Coach for Southern Nazarene Men’s and Women’s Rugby after serving as a Graduate Assistant from Fall 2022 through Spring 2024. He moved into a full-time role with the program in Summer 2024.

A native of Lichfield, England, Willoughby began playing rugby at the age of five with Lichfield Rugby Club. He went on to compete for the Camborne School of Mines rugby team while earning his bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Exeter in 2017. He later earned his master’s degree in Sport Administration and Management from Southern Nazarene in 2024.

He now lives in Oklahoma City with his wife, Susanna, and enjoys exercising, playing sports, reading, and cooking.
