Facility Features
The Cypert Complex houses the baseball and softball programs with two adjoining fields and sits on 40 acres of land just west of the main SNU campus on Northwest 39th Expressway between Rockwell and Council Roads.
For baseball, the Complex seats 100 in the main bleachers, but the capacity is much more with good viewing available down the lines and in the outfield. The baseball field includes two dugouts, a bullpen, storage unit, press box, coaches offices, home team dressing room, umpire dressing facilities, state-of-the-art scoreboard, home and visitor bleachers, donor seating behind home plate and a concession stand. The softball complex seats 50 and features two dugouts, a bullpen, storage facility, state-of-the-art scoreboard, and home and away seating.
In August of 2006, SNU finished up construction of a new 7,000 square foot indoor facility that sits right between the softball and baseball playing fields.
Inside the new indoor facility, is a 4,200 square foot hitting and pitching facility. The hitting and pitching area features four batting cages and two pitching mounds. The SNU baseball and softball teams share the cages.
On the baseball side of the indoor facility are two coaching offices, a player’s lounge, and laundry facilities. The baseball locker room was built three years ago and is adjacent to the new facility behind the home dugout.
On the softball side, there are two coaching offices, the softball locker room, and laundry facilities.
Also included in the new complex are restrooms for game day use by the public.
