· Earned NAIA All-American honors in the 1,000 meters at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field Championships with an eighth-place finish in a time of 2:30.72 that also marked a career-best
· Ran a leg of the distance medley relay team that took 15th at the NAIA Indoor Track & Field National Championships in a time of 10:24.33
· Took fourth in the 1-mile at the MSSU kickoff with a career-best 4:28.59
· Ran a career-best 9:14.43 in the 3,000 meters at the OC Indoor Invitational where he took seventh
· Posted a career-best 1:59.69 in the 800 meters at the Bison Invitational during the outdoor season
· Took eighth at the Bison Invitational in the 1,500 meters with a career-best time of 4:07.14
HIGH SCHOOL
· Prepped four varsity seasons at Plainview High School in Ardmore, Okla., where he graduated in 2011
· Named the 2010-11 Oklahoma Gatorade Athlete of the Year
· Was a two-time state champion in the 1,600, 3,200-meters and 2-mile relay
· Took second at state in the 1,600 and 3,200-meters as a freshman
· Ran four seasons of varsity cross country as well
· Won the state title as a senior and was a two-time state runner-up
· Helped the Tigers win the team state title as a senior
