DENVER, Colo. — The Southern Nazarene Women's Soccer team fell 10-1 to the dominant Regis University Rangers Monday afternoon.
Coming into the 2021 season, the Rangers (2-0) had a nine win season in 2019 and a short four win season during the wake of the coronavirus last year with a number of dominant members returning to this seasons' squad.
The Rangers fired a total of 41 shots on their home field with 22 of those on target. The Storm (0-2) tallied a total of 10 shots throughout the match and placed 6 of those on target.
Junior Kelby Kuo was the leading force for the Rangers as she racked up a total of two goals and two assists throughout the match while securing four total shots with three of those on target.
SNU's Alejandra Andrade led the way with one goal and five shots, three of those on target, while Kaitlyn Deaton added three shots, three shots on goals, and one assist.
The Storm are at home for the first time this season on Thursday, September 9th where they will host St. Mary's University.
