2018 D2CCA Men's Soccer All-Region Teams

HAYS, Kan. — The 2018 Division II Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA) Men's Soccer All-Central Region Team released on Wednesday morning, and Southern Nazarene had one player selected.
 
Senior Marcel Joseph was named to the D2CAA All-Region Second Team after earning Great American Conference Newcomer of the Year honors a few weeks ago. He was also a unanimous selection for the All-GAC First Team. Joseph finished second on the team in goals despite having to sit out the first three games of the season until the NCAA finalized his eligibility.
 
The forward's five goals also tied for second in the GAC, while his three assists placed him sixth in the conference. He landed 18 of his 40 shot attempts on goal and helped lead the SNU offensive attack down the closing stretch of the season.
 
It is the first time since 2014 that the Crimson Storm have earned All-Region honors as nine other players from the GAC were named to the First and Second team respectively.
