SEARCY, Ark. — For the second straight match, Southern Nazarene was ousted by one goal as Harding won 3-2 in SNU's Great American Conference opener.

Also in the second straight match, it was
Meagan Chase who struck first. She netted her second goal of the season on a cross from
Rebekah Abrego in the seventh minute to give the Crimson Storm (2-5, 0-1 GAC) a 1-0 lead. The Bisons (2-3-2, 1-0 GAC) responded in the 13th minute as Bethany Sutherland scored her first of three goals on the night for Harding.

With the game tied 1-1 at half, Sutherland scored her second goal in the 70th minute to give Harding a 2-1 lead. Sutherland then completed her hat trick by heading in a shot in the 76th minute to give the Bisons a 3-1 edge. Chase added a late goal in the 90th minute on a pass from
Kelsi Bussert.

Harding totaled six more shots than SNU in the game with 21, as Sutherland took 10 of those.
Ashlynn Pritchett recorded five saves in the game for the Crimson Storm.
