SEARCY, Ark. — Southern Nazarene managed just seven shots for the match, as it fell to Harding 5-1.
The Bisons (2-3-2, 1-0 GAC) totaled 25 shots for the game as Andre Cunha got things going in the 15
th minute. He scored the first goal of the game for Harding. The Crimson Storm (0-6-1, 0-1 GAC) retaliated with a goal of their own in the 22
nd minute, as
Freddy DiNang tied the game on a pass from
Pedro Garcia for his first goal of the season.
In the second half, it was all Harding the rest of the way. They doubled their shot attempts from the first half and netted four goals. Jason Diaz gave Harding the lead in the 58
th minute, and Jeremy Nwonumah scored one minute later, to expand the lead 3-1. Christian Ramos scored back-to-back goals for the Bisons as they cruised to a 5-1 victory.
Dakota Ellicott saw his first action of the season as he totaled six saves on the night for SNU.
