Box Score SAN MARCOS, Calif. — Southern Nazarene struggled offensively Thursday afternoon in 2-0 loss to Cal San Marcos in Storm's first road game.

The Crimson Storm (0-2-0) played a solid first half defensively, holding the Cougars (1-0-2) scoreless in the first half with just one shot on goal and four total shots. However, they could not get anything going on the offensive end.
Alexus Coxsey was able to get one shot on goal, the only shot SNU was able to take throughout the entirety on the game, while the Cougars had ten shots, half of them on goal. Â

The Cougars took a 1-0 lead early in the second half, in the 58
th minute from a Lauren Perry header into the top left corner off of a corner kick from Megan Pfrunder. CSUSM scored its' second goal off of a penalty kick from Yeya Millan, putting the Cougars up 2-0, which ultimately locked up the victory for Cal State San Marcos.

Fuentes (0-2-0) recorded four saves and allowed two goals while CSUSM's Erica Dory (1-0-2) recorded one save.Â
