Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene was outshot 16-10 with seven shots on goal in its 1-0 loss to Harding.
The Storm (1-7-0, 0-2-0 GAC) played solid defensively as they were able to hold Harding (5-2-0, 2-0-0 GAC) scoreless for the first half. SNU was able to take four shots in the first half, two of them on goal. The Bisons managed to take six shots in the first half, two of the shots on goal.
The Crimson Storm continued to play well defensively, as they held Harding scoreless for 84 minutes, but Bethany Sutherland, the leading scorer in the Great American Conference, scored her fifth goal of the year, to give Harding a 1-0 lead.
Kelsi Bussert led the Crimson Storm with four shots on the game, including two shots on goal.
