Storm Ride by Rangers

Southern Nazarene earned its third victory of the season Saturday afternoon

Box Score ALVA, Okla. — Southern Nazarene earned its second win in Great American Conference play as it scored a 3-1 victory over Northwestern Oklahoma State.
 
The Crimson Storm (3-9-0, 2-4-0 GAC) dominated the ball the entire game, taking 22 shots and landing 15 on goal, while the Rangers took just nine shots all game and only landed five shots on goal.
 
The Rangers jumped out to an early 1-0 lead as Jordan Gomes scored her first goal of the season. Hollie Pankake crossed the ball to Pankake who scored for the Rangers, giving the Rangers a 1-0 lead going into halftime.
 
The Storm wasted no time getting their offense on track in the second half as Kylee Payne scored her first goal of the season in the 47th minute. The Storm added to the lead in the 53rd minute when Hannah Robinson scored her fourth goal of the season.
 
The Storm put the game away in the 88th minute when Meagan Chase scored her fifth goal of the season, giving SNU the 3-1 win.

 Shanae Vasquez got her first start in goal and recorded four saves.
