BETHANY, Okla. — Jared Rangel's fifth goal of the season help's Southern Nazarene come away with an overtime victory over Mary Monday afternoon.

The Marauders (6-8-0) got on the scoreboard first as Michael Hertz scored his first goal of the season in the 37
th minute. Hertz collected his own rebound off a missed shot and kicked it past
Colton Hadlock into the lower left corner for the first goal of the game, giving Mary an early 1-0 lead.

The Marauders preserved their 1-0 lead going into the half, holding the Storm (2-14-2) to a mere four shots with just two on goal, while Mary took 10 shots with five on goal.

Southern Nazarene came out of the second half on the attack and were able to knot the game up at 1-1 in the 48
th minute.
Freddy DiNang passed the ball to
Gabriel Conteh who took a shot from the right side of the box. The ball snuck past the keeper and in for Conteh's second goal of the season.

Mary retook the lead in the 65
th minute when Rasmussen Hampus scored his second goal of the season of off a Michiael Hertz assist.

The Storm answered two minutes later, as they got a goal of their own in the 67
th minute.
Josh May took a free kick from 40 yards out, he placed the ball into the middle of the box and found an open Michell Johnson. Johnson used his chest to knock the ball past the keeper and in for his sixth goal of the season.

The Marauders made it a 3-2 game when Brennan Arron took the rebound off of a corner kick and fired it in to the upper left-hand corner for his fourth goal of the season.

Alan Armstrong tied the game up at 3-3 in the 81
st minute when he took a pass from
Cutter Smith and sent it to the back of the net for his fourth goal of the season.

The second half ended with a score of 3-3, the Storm outshot the Marauders 12-8 in the second half with five on goal.

Rangel won the game for the Storm in the 104
th minute when he collected a rebound off of his own missed shot and fired it past the keeper for his fifth goal of the season, helping the SNU edge out Mary 4-3 in overtime.

Hadlock recorded seven saves for Southern Nazarene and Ludvig Rhodin notched five saves for Mary.Â
