Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Meagan Chase fell one goal short of a hat trick as she scored twice in Southern Nazarene's 3-0 win over Northwestern Oklahoma State Thursday night.

The Crimson Storm (6-11-0, 5-6-0 GAC) jumped on the scoreboard first as they got a goal from Chase, her sixth goal of the season. The goal came in the second minute when
Kelsi Bussert passed the ball to Chase who dribbled around the keeper and sent the ball to the back of the net to give SNU an early 1-0 lead.

The Storm added another goal in the 40
th minute as Bussert converted a penalty kick into her fifth goal of the season.

SNU dominated the entire first have as they were able to get the offense running on all cylinders. The Storm took 20 shots in the first half with eight on goal while holding the Rangers (0-17-0, 0-11-0 GAC) to just four shots with two on goal.

Southern Nazarene continued to attack NWOSU in the second half as Chase managed to score her second goal of the game in the 48
th minute. Chase took a pass from
Stephanie Ledgerwood and placed her shot past the keeper for her seventh goal of the season.

The Storm set a season record for shots taken as they got 40 shots on the night, placing 15 of those shots on goal. The Rangers attempted eleven shots with just three on goal.
