OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene was held scoreless in 4-0 loss at Oklahoma Baptist Saturday night.
The Bison (5-4-1, 3-0 GAC) got on the scoreboard early in the third minute on a Vincente Castillo goal. Castillo scored off of a Jonathan Martinez assist, his seventh goal of the season.
The Storm (1-8-0, 1-2-0 GAC) kept the Bison scoreless for the rest of the half, as they trailed the Bison 1-0 at halftime. The Storm took six shots in the first half with just one shot on goal. Oklahoma Baptist took six shots in the first half with three shots on goal.
The Bison extended the lead in the 56
th minute when Matthew Giudice scored his third goal of the season. OBU tacked on two late goals in the 87
th and 89
th minutes to give the Bison the 4-0 win.
SNU got 13 shots on the night with four shots on goal. The Bison took 14 shots with seven on goal.
Colton Hadlock recorded three saves for the Storm and Oklahoma Baptist's Thomas Ackernecht notched four saves.
