BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene struggled on the offensive end once again, landing just two shots on goal during a 2-0 loss to Midwestern State.
Â
The Crimson Storm (3-3-0) could never mount much of an offensive attack against the Mustangs, who have received votes in the top 25 in the nation.
Grace Self landed a shot on goal in the sixth minute of the game, but the next shot on goal for SNU wouldn't come until the 52
nd minute from
Kasey Throgmorton.
Â
Both goals from the Mustangs came from Destinee Williamson, her first and second goals of the 2015 season. Both goals came within two minutes of one another, and other than that, the SNU defense did a good job limiting damage from the MSU attack.
Â
