BETHANY, Okla. — For the second consecutive game, Southern Nazarene had trouble finding the back of the net in a 2-0 loss at the hands of Oklahoma Christian.
Â
The Crimson Storm (2-2-0) had plenty of opportunities to get on the board, but the windy conditions altered nearly every shot taken. As a result, just five of the 19 shots taken by SNU throughout the game landed on goal.
Â
Kelsi Bussert led SNU with seven shots and two shots on goal, while
Nancy Williams,
Brianna Evans, and
Stephanie Ledgerwood all landed one shot on goal.
Natasha Fuentes recorded five saves for the Crimson Storm in the contest.
Â
Both goals for the Lady Eagles were scored by Rubi Villegas, whose three goals on the season account for all goals scored by Oklahoma Christian in 2015.
