Gustavo Mendoza was red carded on a handball while defending an empty net as he tried to keep it a 1-0 game. The Mustangs converted the penalty kick to make it 1-0 and played the rest of the first half against 10 of SNU's players. MSU tacked on two more goals to lead 3-1 at the half and made it 6-1 before
Keegan Radichel was sent off with a red card to put SNU down to nine men on the field. MSU added two more goals to hit the final score.
