Storm Fall on Senior Day

SNU dropped its final home game of the season with a 4-1 loss to Eastern New Mexico

BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene was outshot 33-17 on Senior Day in a 4-1 loss to Eastern New Mexico.
 
The Crimson Storm (3-14-0) kept the game close going into halftime, down just 1-0 after the Greyhounds found the net in the 29th minute. However, ENMU turned the tide with two goals in a three-minute span, resulting in a 3-0 lead in the 61st minute.
 
SNU showed some fight, scoring in the 68th minute as Jared Rangel scoring off a rebound of a shot from Ismael Fernandez. The score remained 3-1 until the 88th minute, when Ryan McManus completed a hat trick with the final goal of the game.
 
Gustavo Mendoza and Fernandez led the Crimson Storm in shots with five. Colton Hadlock was one save away from tying his career high as he tallied 12 saves.
 
Mendoza and Bret Lopez played their final home game for the Crimson Storm.
