BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene entered Thursday's contest with Ouachita knowing it had the chance to take over first place in the Great American Conference. However, the Tigers had the same thought and in a 15-minute time span at the end of the first Ouachita took over the GAC lead with a 3-0 win over SNU.

It was scoreless through the first 30 minutes of the game until the Tigers' Sewell Yost put them on the board in the 31
st minute. Less than five minutes later Dylan Tritton made it 2-0 and put the cap on the scoring with just 48 seconds left in the half with his second goal.

The Tigers (4-8, 3-1 GAC) outshot SNU 28-16 and put 11 shots on goal while the Crimson Storm (2-10, 2-2 GAC) had six.
Cutter Smith put two of his three shots on frame while the other four shots on goal came from other players.

Colton Hadlock played the first half in goal and recorded five saves while
Jeff Ray played the second half and had three. Ouachita's Nelson Pacheco had six saves.
