Edgar Pineda had the magic touch as Pineda scored two goals in regulation that set up Rodgers' golden goal in the 95th minute to give Southern Nazarene the 3-2 win over Oklahoma Christian.

The Crimson Storm (1-1-0) got on the board early as
Edgar Pineda scored his first goal of the season in the sixth minute off a pass from
Ismael Fernandez to put SNU up 1-0. Pineda followed that up with a second goal in the 18
th minute to give SNU a 2-0 lead.

The Eagles (0-1-1) closed the gap with a goal by Ante Susic off a cross from Troy Tippeconnic in the 32
nd minute to cut SNU's lead to 2-1.

Both teams battled hard in the second half to take over the game. The Eagles tied up the game in the 69
th minute when Troy Tippeconnic scored off a free kick from 20 yards out.

Neither team could break the tie in the 21 minutes left in regulation that forced extra time. Rodgers ended the game with a golden goal four minutes into OT off a cross from
Edgar Pineda.
