Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — A late goal with 15 seconds left to play by Rogers State's Caleb Pitts sealed the a 2-0 over Southern Nazarene Thursday in the 2014 season opener.

The Hillcats (1-0-0) scored late in the first half with a crisp chip shot over the keeper by Jordan Permaul off a pass from Caleb Pitts for his first goal of the season to put the Hillcats up 1-0.

Rogers State attempted eight shots in the first half while Southern Nazarene attempted four shots with two coming on goal.

The Crimson Storm (0-1-0) had some chances in the second half to tie the game, but were unable to convert those attempts into goals. Caleb Pitts scored the second goal of the game on a pass from Lars Lindtner in the waning moments of the game to put the score at 2-0.

Rogers State attempted 18 shots, putting seven shots on goal. Southern Nazarene attempted seven shots, putting two shots on goal.

Jeff Ray had five saves for the Crimson Storm while Cody Gammill had two saves for the Hillcats.
