BETHANY, Okla.— Blake Rodgers scored his eighth goal of the season for Southern Nazarene in their 2-1 loss to Lindenwood.

The Lions (9-6-3, 7-4-1 MIAA) got on the board quickly when Alfredo Paez headed Mitchell Hunt's pass into the net in the fifth minute. The Crimson Storm (4-14, 3-9 MIAA) only attempted one shot in the first half.

Rodgers tied the game at 1-1 in the 60
th minute when he headed
Mario Caballeros' free kick into the back of the net. Lindenwood took the lead again in the 82
nd minute when Andre Hayne received a pass from Paez and put it in the goal from the center of the box. The Crimson Storm had a couple of more chances to tie the game after the Lions took the lead.
Josh May's shot from 30 yards out in the 85
th minute was saved by Andrew Hamerlinck. Rodgers header in the 89
th minute was out of reach for Lindenwood's keeper, but a defender cleared it out of the box.

th minute was saved by Hamerlinck. May's shot with thirty seconds left sailed wide right and sealed the win for the Lions.

Ray finishes the season with 93 saves, which is tenth in school history in a single season. Pineda finishes his career tied for seventh in career goals with 27. Rodgers ends his career sixth in career goals with 29 and eighth in career points with 71.
