Box Score ARKADELPHIA, Ark. — BETHANY, Okla. — Southern Nazarene hosted senior night on Friday but unfortunately couldn't hold off No. 17 Fort Hays State in a 2-0 loss.

The first half was a defensive battle. Both teams refused to allow the opposition to score and that resulted in a 0-0 tie at halftime. Fort Hays State (11-3-2, 5-1-2 MIAA) attempted 11 first half shots and three were on goal. SNU (2-16-0, 1-8-0 MIAA) took two shots and one was on target.

Fort Hays State didn't waste any time in the second half. In the 42
nd minute Jacob Rangel crossed a pass to Daniel Peralta and he put it in the left side of the net to give the Tigers a 1-0 lead. In the 24
th minute Diego Cabral crossed a pass to Peralta and he scored from the left side to give the Tigers a 2-0 lead. Fort Hays State didn't score another goal, but they were able to hold on for the win.

Fort Hays State attempted 19 shots for the game and eight were on goal. Southern Nazarene attempted six shots for the game and four were on target.
Tyler Wythe recorded eight saves for the Storm.
