Box Score ADA, Okla. — East Central was a victim of another shutout by Southern Nazarene as SNU earned its sixth shutout of the season in a 1-0 win over the Tigers.

Julie Duncan. "Sara (Eguren) played phenomenal. She came across many times, and was able to slow down their offense."

There was not much offense in the game as neither team could get much going. The Crimson Storm (6-3, 2-1 MIAA) scored the only goal of the night in the 38
th minute when
Bekah Stewart received an assist from Sarah Nazary to give the Storm a 1-0 lead and that ultimately was enough to give SNU the win.

"Their forwards were playing back," said Duncan. "Bekah took the pass from Sarah and dribbled three or four times and put it in the upper 90."

Southern Nazarene took 19 shots and nine were on goal.

"Their keeper had a few saves and we hit a few wide," said Duncan. Â "Their forwards were fast and got to the ball quickly."

East Central (1-7, 1-1 GAC) took nine shots and one was on frame.
Yoli Zamarripa had one save for SNU.

Next the Storm play at home Monday in a non-conference game against Southwest Baptist at 6 p.m.
