Box Score ALVA, Okla. — Grace Self scored a career high two goals and Southern Nazarene recorded its eighth shutout of the season in a 2-0 Great American Conference win at Northwestern Oklahoma State.

SNU (8-6, 4-3 GAC) was rewarded a free kick with 38 minutes to play in the first half and Self scored from 22 yards out. The goal was Self's second of the season and gave the Storm a 1-0 lead. Northwestern Oklahoma State (1-14, 0-7 GAC) only attempted three shots in the first half and only one was on goal. SNU Â went into halftime with a 1-0 advantage.

The Storm dominated the second half as well. Limiting the Rangers to only five shots and only two were on goal. With 32 minutes left in the second half, Self was granted another free kick and blasted it in the goal from 25 yards out giving SNU a 2-0 lead. Self's goal was enough to push the Storm to their eighth victory of the season and its fourth win in the GAC.

SNU attempted 24 shot and 13 were on goal. The Rangers took eight shots and three were on frame. Yoli Zamarrippa recorded two saves for the Storm and
Natasha Fuentes had one.

The Storm leads the GAC in shutouts with a total of eight. All eight of Southern Nazarene's wins have been shutouts.
