Box Score PORTALES, N.M. — Mitchell Johnson scored a career high two goals for Southern Nazarene but the Storm were unable to slow down Eastern New Mexico falling 6-2.

The Greyhounds (8-4-2) came out firing on the offensive end. In the 14
th minute Kal Herbert scored his first goal of the season off an assist by Eishu Kanemitsu and Raphael Splanemann. Shortly after, Kanemitsu scored in the 15
th minute and the 29
th minute to give the Greyhounds a 3-0 halftime lead.

SNU wasn't able to attempt any shots in the first half and the Greyhounds attempted 18.

The Storm (2-9) made things interesting in the second half after Johnson scored off of a free kick from 40 yards out in the 53
rd minute. In the 57
th minute Johnson scored his second goal of the season receiving an assist from
Javier Hernandez to make the score 3-2.

Eastern New Mexico proved to be too much on the offensive end and SNU couldn't slow them down. The Greyhounds scored goals in the 71
st, 79
th and 85
th minute to win 6-2.

SNU attempted seven shots for the game and four were on goal. The Greyhounds attempted 38 shots and 23 were on target.
Tyler Wythe had a career high 17 saves for the Storm.

The Crimson Storm will now return home for a game against Upper Iowa, Thursday, for a 3 p.m. Great American Conference game.
