Eastern Takes Afternoon on the Pitch

Eastern New Mexico downed SNU 5-1

N'Dri scored his first career goal.
Box Score BETHANY, Okla. — Eastern New Mexico's Cantu Palombo scored five points with two goals and an assist as Southern Nazarene lost 5-1 to the Greyhounds.
 
Ange-Pierre N'Dri scored his first career goal for the Crimson Storm (0-7) in the 75th minute as the freshman from Ivory Coast took a long pass from Javier Caballeros and headed the ball away from the Greyhounds (6-2) keeper back towards the goal. It was just N'Dri and the goal as he gave SNU it's only goal of the day.
 
Palombo scored the first goal of the game in the fourth minute and ENMI added two more in the next four minutes to lead 3-0. Mikhail Koch scored the second goal followed by Palombo's second of the day. Diego Santos took a corner from Palombo in the 53rd minute and buried a header to make it 4-0 before Carlos Viveros slid one past Blake Anderson to make it 5-0.
 
Anderson finished the day with four saves as the Greyhounds took 21 shots with nine being on goal. ENMU's Fredrik had six saves as SNU put seven of its 15 shots on frame.
 
The Crimson Storm will now host Harding, Thursday, for a 7 p.m. MIAA match.
