SHWANEE — Tito Silva was all Oklahoma Baptist needed as he assisted on the Bison's first goal and scored the golden goal in the second overtime to down Southern Nazarene, 2-1, Tuesday afternoon.
Victor Costa scored the first goal for the Bison in the 26th minute off a Silva assist and OBU carried that lead until the 72nd minute when Nick Chafey punched one in off a Cory Nolan thrown in. That goal tied the game at 1-1 and forced extra time.
It was Silva who came threw in extra time off an Eryk Silva assist that deflated any SNU hopes.
