Last week, Speight was named the Great American Conference Tournament's Most Valuable Player after leading Southern Nazarene to its second straight GAC Tournament championship. The junior averaged 22 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game as the Crimson Storm took down Southeastern Oklahoma State 80-77 in the championship game. The Storm are now headed to the NCAA Tournament as they take on St. Cloud State in the opening round of the NCAA Regionals at Maryville, Missouri on Saturday night at 8:30 p.m.
