Simmons went 2-0 on the week with wins over Mid-America Christian and No. 11 Oklahoma City. She gave up just two hits and struck out two in a 10-0 win over MACU and became the first pitcher in school history to beat Oklahoma as she gave up just two runs, one earned, on four hits as SNU beat OCU 3-2 in extra innings.
