Cody Jones finished 11^th at the Great American Conference Championships with a time of 25:44 and was named the 2016 GAC Freshman of the Year. Jones is the first ever Crimson Storm runner to be named Freshman of the Year. Jones was also a All-GAC Second Team selection.
