Box Score 2 MONTICELLO, Ark. — There's no doubt the fight is still there for Southern Nazarene after it rallied in its final at bat in a 2-1 win over Arkansas-Monticello Saturday after falling 5-2 in the first game of a doubleheader.
The Crimson Storm (16-21, 8-18 GAC) trailed the Boll Weevils (27-15, 15-11 GAC) 1-0 heading into the seventh.
SNU took advantage of a UAM before
Damian Santamaria singled through the left side to tie it before
Kyle Fultz hit a sac fly to center to score
Nate Saquilon and give SNU a 2-1 lead.
Matt Berry (3-8) went the distance as he gave up just one run on five hits in seven innings of work.
Jacob Inbody led the way going 2-for-3.
In the opener, UAM took the first lead with one in the bottom of the first and added another in the fifth to lead 2-0. The Storm finally got on the board in the top of the sixth when
Ryan Brosnan hit one-out home run to left to cut it to 2-1 and the Storm tied it when
Kyle Fultz hit a sacrifice fly to left to score

The Weevils added two seventh and one in the eighth to lead 5-2 heading into the ninth. Southern Nazarene had a chance to make a run in the top of the ninth with the bases loaded and one out, but left all three stranded to seal the game.
Tim Coleman (2-6) took the loss after giving up three runs on five hits in six innings of work. Brosnan went 2-for-3 with an RBI and a run scored. San Miguel also went 2-for-4 with a run scored.
The two will conclude their three-game series, Sunday at noon.
