Southern Nazarene welcomed a new class of Crimson Storm

BETHANY, Okla. —
The names have rolled in on the 2013 signing class as Southern Nazarene begins preparing for the fall season. Southern Nazarene enters its first full season in football in the Great American Conference and is hoping this class will be an instant impact.
 
Lorenzo Alexander was an all-state honorable mention, all-district first team slection and was named all-big city second team as a senior at Northwest Classen in Oklahoma City. He rusehd for 1,015 yards and had 14 touchdowns in 2012. He helped lead the knights to the most wins in a three-year period in school history. He rushed for 505 yards and five touchdowns as a junior and 687 yards as a sophomore. 

Austin Anglea is a distance from home as the Indianapolis native comes to SNU from Speedway High School in Indianapolois, Ind. He was a two-time all-state selection and set school records for passing yards in a career (7,134), passing yards in a single season (2,415) and career touchdowns (75). He led the state in passing yards as a junior.
 
Shaun Barnard was named all-district as a punter at Halton City (Texas) High School. He never missed an extra point as a senior and recorded a season-long 48-yard field goal. 

Hunter Baskett received an honorable mention to the all-state team and was named to the West Side All-Star Team as senior. He also garnered All-Metro Conference and all-district selections as a senior.
 
Chris Bloomquist received an all-district honorable mention at Rowlett (Texas) High School. He totaled 70 tackles, one sack two recovered fumbles and one forced fumble as a senior. He also helped the Eagles to eight straight playoff victories in two years.
 
John Clark comes from Allen (Texas) High School where he helped the Eagles win a 5A-Division I state title. He earned all-district and all-country first team honors as a senior. He notched 28 pancakes and gave up just two sacks. As a powerlifter, he also recorded the school record for squat at 580 pounds.
 
Kyle Chism was a Class 5A All-District 14 second team and Class 5a Region II Elite Team second team selection out of Texas A&M Consolidated High School in College Station, Texas. 

Tanner Galvin was an all-county and all-district first team selection at Cleburne (Texas) High School where helped Yellow Jackets go 7-4 in 2012.
 
Forrest Garza earned all-district second team honors as a junior at North Forney (Texas) High School. 

Bingham Hightower totaled 23 touchdowns his senior season at Cushing (Okla.) High School where he was named the Class 3A-2 Offensive Player of the Year. He totaled over 1,800 all-purpose yards his senior season and helped lead the Tigers to a 15-7 record.
 
Will House was named all-district and all-county second team as a tackle and helped Cleburne (Texas) High School to the first playoff appearance in 10 years. He was also an academic all-american.

Kantrell Hunter was a conference MVP as a senior as he helped Sachse (Texas) High School to back-to-back state playoff appearances, as SHS had never been to the state playoffs before the 2011 season.

Clone Kinsey helped lead Hightower High School in Missouri City, Texas to the state semifinals as a junior. 
 
Trey Knowles was an all-state selection at Wynnewood (Okla.) High School where he helped the Savages go 26-3 over the last two seasons.

Johnathan Martin was an all-district selection at wide receiver as a senior and scored the most touchdowns of any wide reciever in a single-season in school history. He was also named the team's Offensive Player of the Year as a freshman.
 
Andrew McClung helped lead Community Christian School in Moore, Okla., to back-to-back OCSAA state title games, winning it all in 2010. He then helped Washington (Okla.) High School to the 2011 state playoffs before returning back to CCS.

Ross Moore led Broken Arrow (Okla.) High School in scoring with 54 points as a senior and helped the Tigers reach the state finals as junior. He was tied for the second leading scorers as a junior with 90 points and notched a 42-yard field goal as a sophomore. 

John Page was a Class 3A All-Star at defesnive back and a Class 3A All-District selction at wide reciever at Bethan (Okla.) High School. He set the school record for receptions and finished third all-time in receiving yards. He totaled 35 catches for 460 yards as a senior and also had 81 tackles. He helped hte Bronchos to a state semifinals appearance as a sophomore and a quarterfinals appearance as a junior. 
 
Mark Roll was an all-district first team selection for Cypress (Texas) Ranch High School where he led the Mustangs to their first playoff appearance in Class 5A. He  was also named academic all-district and received an honorable mention to the academic all-state team.
 
Ben Thurlby is an all-district selection out of L.D. Bell High School in Hurst, Texas. He recorded 71 tackles and led the team in pass breakups and interceptions as a senior. He also forced two fumbles and recovered a pair of fumbles.
 
Kevin Wortham also played for Allen (Texas) High school alongside Clark. The Eagles won a state title in the fall and Wortham helped AHS produce a 26-2 record over two seasons.
 
William Willis was a two-time all-district and all-academic choice out of Grandview (Texas) High School. Over four years, he helped the Zebras to a 37-9 record.
